Ready to use solvent dries to form a transparent, wax-type protective film of approximately 1 mm thick. For use indoors or outdoors on both ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces. Use on iron, steel, copper, brass, aluminum, and painted surfaces. One coating lasts about 6 months for outdoor and one year for indoor applications. Will not crack, chip, peel or sag from -40°F to 550°F. Resists degradation by sunlight. High electrical resistance. Polar microscopic platelets form a unique fish scale structure. Forms a tightly adherent bond to the base metal, even under damp conditions. Allows colors and markings on protected surface to remain visible.
